About Me

Deborah N: I've been living a vegetarian lifestyle for more than 25 years. Food and nutrition are my passions. Really it's all about a healthy lifestyle and experimentation and food adventure. My degree is in Food and Consumer Science. I taught for many years, specializing in foods and nutrition. I’ve shared many of my recipes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian on GroupRecipes.com. On this BLOG, I hope to create a food buzz for exciting vegetarian dishes. I hope to share the best in recipes, restaurants, and products for vegetarian and healthy living. I am always inspired by good books: Eat to Live, The China Study, Beyond the 120 Year Diet & The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who've Lived the Longest, and recently, The Veganist. My most recent inspirations are my relocation from New Jersey to South Carolina and my first gardening attempt.
