BBQ SEITAN


the makings of a good quick Southern Vegan sandwich

INGREDIENTS:

1 pkg. seitan strips
1/2 red onion, sliced thin
1 Tbsp. oil
barbecue sauce, as needed
whole wheat roll, grilled
coleslaw


DIRECTIONS:

In a medium skillet heat the oil.  Saute the onions till soft. 

Add the seitan slices and cook about 5 minutes.

Add the barbecue sauce, stir all together.  Cover and cook for 10 minutes. 


ready to add the BBQ sauce


Serve on a toasted roll, topped with coleslaw.
